in light weight material , almost half of the fares are reduced , and in haveavy weight material they have reduced fare from 15k USD to 10k USD.
Morbi : morbi ceramic industry is geeting very important news with relief .recently export ceramic business wasalmost stuked , which is over Rs.15k crore in a year .due to reduction of container fares and global freight charges , the ceramic export business expected to flurish.
baltic dry index is continuesly to redudec globally. so that global freight charges which was touching sky , are now going down. as the container fares were very high from last 3-4 months , so ceramic export business was badly effected and went down as well. hence anual export number of business was also badly effected . now on the other hand , because of 30 to 50 percent fares reduction in heavey weight & light weight categories , once again the morbi ceramic export business expecting the boost .
Mr.digpalsingh sodha, from fortune shipping services , Gandhidham , Kutch has confirmed in interview of morbi update that heavy weight ceramic tiles , around 28 tonnes , which price was earlier around 15k USD and now it’s come down around 10000-10500 USD. and with 20 tonne lightweight container fares are also come down and reached till 7500 USD. he hoped that export from INDIA would pick up in the coming days as the container fares are going down.

mr.nilesh bhai jetpariya the president of morbi ceramic assosiation has commented on the reduction of container fares and said that the sky touching container charges are now going down . due to reduction in global frieght charges , recently 30% reduction in US container charges & 10-15% reduction in other countries container charges we have recived . still in the charges can go down as per market . looking in to this , in coming days morbi ceramic product’s export can be accelerate. and this reduction in fares can be proven significant in the current difficult conditation .
